WHy the Stripes?

Our distinct striped uniforms and pinnies pay homage to our coastal upbringing.  Since most of our coaches and players call the Jersey Shore home we were inspired by the striped bathing suits popular in the 18th and 19th centuries and wanted to incorporate that into or team logo and uniform design.  

Red and white stripes were also popular for lifeguard uniforms in the late 1800s and early 1900s since the two colors symbolized the lifeguard's ability to perform first aid.
